This kit makes one (1) hand applique picture suitable for framing to adding to a project such as a pillow or quilt.
Make Merry (December) will bring cheer to any holiday setting with its sprigs of holly and berries and winter candies. The pre-printed background for this project is included in the pattern. You can use wool for the applique pieces, but they could also be done in flannel or cotton. This hand applique project/kit is great to take with you to complete up quick and easy. This project, by Bonnie Sullivan, includes complete instructions, applique templates and a preprinted fabric panel. No tracing required. Printed lines show where to do your stitching. Feel free to embellish your panel with other accents such as beads or buttons.
Finished piece will fit an 8" x 10" frame (Frame Not Included.)
I love these types of projects! They are handy to take along in my "Go Bag" that I can take on a camping or car trip. It gets me ahead of the holiday rush and lets me have some ready-to-go gifts or decorating items before the season hits (and then there is no time!)

Only the pre-printed fabric is included in this project, you supply the additional applique fabrics, embroidery floss & frame to complete the panel. This item can be returned within 7 days of receipt day only if the original packaging has not been tampered with. There will be a 20% restocking fee. When you receive Free Shipping, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT to ship all items in a manner that your purchase qualifies for and in keeping with good business practices, regardless of if you have been offered or selected Priority by Etsy. Etsy shipping is not always accurate on weights and sizes when items of different postal requirements are taken into consideration.
Shipping Cost and Package Tracking
Most items are sent USPS Ground Advantage with a stiffener, this disqualifies the item(s) from first class shipping. This shipping option does include insurance should the item(s) be lost or damaged in transit. For items sent via media mail (when they qualify by USPS standards) I do add insurance.
If your order is lost or damaged in transit, I can assist filing a claim compensation, be it a refund or replacement. If a package is scanned delivered by the post office but NOT received by you, it does become your responsibility to contact your local post office to try to locate or find out what happened to the package. Please note that we will need to wait for an insurance claim to be paid prior sending refund.
Can you send a pattern via PDF or download?
As much as we would like to offer this, none of our patterns are available via PDF as the designers of our patterns have retained the copyrights for their work. All of our patterns are physical patterns which will be shipped to you via USPS. If you are looking for a PDF pattern, we highly recommend reaching out to the pattern designer directly as they may have a PDF option available.
Fabric Instructions
Our fabrics come directly from the manufacturer and are not pre-washed. If you are new to working with pre-cut fabrics, the manufactures recommend that they not be washed until your whole project is complete. If you want/need to be able to pre-wash the fabric, we would recommend yardage for your project.
Are these fabrics COLORFAST?
No matter what type fabric you get, you cannot assume that anything is colorfast and will not run or bleed. This can be a nightmare when you have spent a lot of money for beautiful fabric, only to have your project or quilt ruined because of bleeding issues. In order to make many dark colors vibrant, manufacturers have to use a lot of dye. The more dye, the greater the propensity the fabric has to bleed. If you have questions about the colorfastness of a fabric, please test it first. You may have to pre-treat the fabric to better "set" the dye. Even then, it may not be enough and you may have to re-think your project and the fabrics you use. We will not be responsible for its colorfastness, nor will we replace your fabrics
FABRIC COLORS:
Please bear in mind that the photo shown may be slightly different from actual item in terms of color due to the lighting during photo shooting and/or your monitor’s display. We have made every effort to display, as accurately as possible, the colors of our items. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor and we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be accurate. If you have any doubt or questions, please ask prior to purchase to avoid any misunderstanding.
Do you ship outside of the United States?
We no longer offer shipping to countries outside of the United States. Due to heavy shipping losses and extended ship times due to labor shortages, we can no longer justify or sustain shipping internationally.
Do you refund for shipping overage charges?
Yes. We do our best to combine separate orders occurring on the same day and ship orders at the lowest rate possible based on the size and weight. In addition, we do review multiple item orders for the shipping charged. Any shipping overage of $1 or more will be refunded to the payment account.
Please note: Our patterns are sent via USPS and ship at Ground Advantage rates NOT letter rates. This is due to a larger envelope size and a stiffener we place with our patterns, which makes them more rigid to protect them from being bent or damaged by the postal service machinery.
