Step one, sew – and away we go! Maywood Studio’s ever-popular “Pods” pre-cut kits make piecing simple, quick and inspiring for sewists at all levels. Each ‘easy-peasy’ project kit includes detailed quilting instructions with color illustrations. **These are the last of these PODS, so get them while I have them. These are great holiday projects and they make great gifts.
This is a Precut Quilt Kit. All of the fabric is pre-cut for you to make this beautiful project. The kit includes pre-cut patchwork pieces for 12 blocks and strips for double fold binding.
Batting and backing required: 1-1/2 yards of fabric of your choice; not included. READY TO SEW, DESIGNED TO GROW. If you wish to make a larger size, all you need to do is add more kits.
TOP TIP: Are you a little apprehensive about PODS? There are several YouTube videos out there that do a wonderful job of telling just how simple they are and giving you some tips on setting up your sewing space to do a PODS. Cross Pod-inate instructions at Maywoodstudio.com/projects. Trust me, it is not wise to just "rip open" your kit the first thing when it arrives. Some of the best videos have been made by Kimberbell and Shabby Fabrics as well. I highly recommend taking a few minutes of your time before starting your PODS quilt. So, grab a cup of tea and set down and enjoy the show!

Shipping Cost and Package Tracking
It is important to understand that most items are now sent USPS Ground Advantage. US Postal Service Ground Advantage is replacing First Class Mail and Parcel Select Ground. The new service offers the same prices and 2-5 day delivery. Orders are sent with a stiffener; this requires package rates for shipping. This shipping option does include insurance for the item if lost or damaged in transit. For items sent via media mail (when they qualify for USPS standards) insurance is included.

Can you send a pattern via PDF or download?
As much as we would like to offer this, none of our patterns are available via PDF as the designers of our patterns have retained the copyrights for their work. All of our patterns are physical patterns which will be shipped to you via USPS. If you are looking for a PDF pattern, we highly recommend reaching out to the pattern designer directly as they may have a PDF option available.
Fabric Instructions
Our fabrics come directly from the manufacturer and are not pre-washed. If you are new to working with pre-cut fabrics, the manufactures recommend that they not be washed until your whole project is complete. If you want/need to be able to pre-wash the fabric, we would recommend yardage for your project.
Are these fabrics COLORFAST?
No matter what type fabric you get, you cannot assume that anything is colorfast and will not run or bleed. This can be a nightmare when you have spent a lot of money for beautiful fabric, only to have your project or quilt ruined because of bleeding issues. In order to make many dark colors vibrant, manufacturers have to use a lot of dye. The more dye, the greater the propensity the fabric has to bleed. If you have questions about the colorfastness of a fabric, please test it first. You may have to pre-treat the fabric to better "set" the dye. Even then, it may not be enough and you may have to re-think your project and the fabrics you use. We will not be responsible for its colorfastness, nor will we replace your fabrics

We no longer offer shipping to countries outside of the United States except to Canada. Due to heavy shipping losses and extended ship times due to labor shortages, we can no longer justify or sustain shipping internationally.
